Environmental educationAmong the main activities of our organization, the environmental education workshops have always been a very important field of action. The major environmental and social issues are dealt in an enjoyable and experimental way, in order to “put into play” the relationship between children and natural environment around them. Naturalist guides for tour operatorsOn vacation it is easy to become “naturally curious”, so lately Studio Kairos is committed to creating opportunities to approach the natural environment also in holiday resorts. Through these moments of exploration and relaxation people are led to the observation and comprehension of natural phenomena. The last experience, on summer 2011, has brought us to organize hiking and sailing trips among the Sporades islands, in Eastern Greece, in collaboration with the association Natour . |

Workshops for schoolsThe suggested activities are multidisciplinary and integrated, involving the participation of experts from different disciplines. They represent an opportunity to experience innovative, highly interactive teaching methods, implying a close contact with the natural environment. Among these workshops, we mention “From the leaf to the tree: a tutorial in the tree”, “In a silent world”, “Biodiversity: a resource for the urban environment”, and numerous other workshops on topics such as water, soil, river, etc… |
