“The Wool Ways” is heading to RAI 3 in the GEO programme

We are delighted to share a new milestone in the “The Wool Ways” project: the two documentaries dedicated to the ancient transhumance routes in central and southern Italy will be broadcast on RAI 3 as part of the GEO programme.

We have in fact just finalised the agreement for the broadcast of “The Wool Ways in Puglia e Molise” and “The Wool Ways in Abruzzo”, two episodes that recount the journey along the route of the Tratturo Magno, following the stories of those who still today preserve and travel this extraordinary cultural heritage.

For us, this is a highly valuable achievement.

The broadcast on GEO will bring this story to a vast audience, giving visibility to the shepherds, artisans and communities who welcomed us so generously during filming, sharing their stories, traditions and memories with us.

Without the contribution of all the people and organisations who believed in the value of this project, we could never have achieved this. To them goes our most sincere thanks, along with all those who have followed and supported “The Wool Ways” throughout its journey.

We will have to wait a little longer to find out the exact broadcast date. The schedule depends on the requirements of the RAI programming schedule, and we are awaiting official confirmation.

In the meantime, please keep following us: we’ll update you as soon as we have any news.

We can’t wait to take you with us on this journey through Abruzzo, Molise and Puglia, along the ancient trails of transhumance and pastoral culture.
