About us
The studio
Kairostudio was founded in Parma in 2007, as a professional studio specialized in communication of contents related to nature and science. During the first years we worked for institutions and research centres in Italy and abroad, producing institutional videos, documentaries and crossmedia projects, with a marked tendency to experimentation.
Afterwards, we broadened our work to social and company communication. In 2011, we produced our first fully animated series, intended for a web distribution: “The Arctic Adventures of Dioxy”. This is how a long collaboration with Norway and Svalbard Islands began.
In 2014, we did our first independent productions, producing “Hands”, the first italian Social Movie, which drew the attention of important national media (look at the Tg2 TV News).
In 2015, we produced a second animated series, “SvalandBard”, with the Svalbard Environmental Protection Fund and Norway as co-producers.
In 2017, the studio turned into a limited company and started its first TV collaborations.
In 2018, on behalf of Doclab, we curated the script and the direction of the television service “The tardigrades and the secret of eternal life”, broadcasted on SuperQuark, RAIUNO.
In 2021, we produced “The giants of the sea”, a documentary broadcasted on Geo, RAITRE.
