Dear friends, today we are going to tell you something about the story that lies behind our new project. Everything began with a shipwreck during a stormy night in the end of 1600. A boat with a family of French Jews arrived on a beach called “Valle Grotte”, in the Italian region of Abruzzo; they were escaping from racial persecutions that were widespread in Europe at that time.
